COVID-19 SAFETY
Here are some of the steps we are taking to create a safer clinic space.
UV air filters are being used inside the treatment room
Surface disinfection with medical-grade cleaning products will be done between patients and at the end of the clinic day.
We are removing difficult-to-clean items from the clinic space.
Your acupuncturist and other clinic practitioners will be wearing masks, washing hands, and practicing diligent personal hygiene.
We will require that everyone inside of the clinic wear masks.
We are practicing social distancing in our personal lives to help reduce exposure and limit risk.
We will stay home if we exhibit any symptoms of COVID-19, including cough, fever, and shortness of breath, or if we have been exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.
WHAT ARE WE ASKING OF YOU
Please review the following guidelines for in-person appointments.
Alert us if you have recently traveled or developed two of more of the following symptoms: fever, cough, difficulty breathing, loss of taste or smell, or nausea. Please do not come to the clinic if you have had a fever in the last 48 hours. Fees are waived for cancellations due to potential COVID-19 symptoms or diagnosis.
Alert us if you have been exposed to someone with COVID-19. We ask that you do not come to your appointment if you have had recent known exposure.
Please bring a face mask with you and be prepared to wear it for the entire session, regardless of symptoms. If you do not have a face mask, one will be provided for you.
We ask that you not bring anyone along with you to your appointment unless they are necessary for your care.
Please bring your own closed water bottle for liquid. At this time we will not be providing any water or tea.
WHEN YOU ARRIVE FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT
Please wait to enter the clinic until your scheduled appointment time. This supports social distancing and gives our team time to clean between patients. If you arrive early, please wait in your car or outside. You will not be notified to enter, just come inside at the time of your appointment and your acupuncturist will be there to greet you. If you don’t see your practitioner yet, have a seat in the waiting room.
Please leave unnecessary and non-valuable items in your car. If you are taking an alternative transportation method, please plan to bring minimal personal belongings to your session.
Use hand sanitizer that is provided for you in the waiting area of the clinic space.
Put on your face mask. You will need to wear a face mask during your treatment, regardless of your symptoms. If you do not have your own we will give you a disposable mask.
DURING YOUR VISIT
Please wear a face mask at all times.
Please use the hand sanitizer that has been provided for you inside the treatment room when you enter and exit the room.
Alert us if you have recently developed two or more of the following symptoms: fever, cough, difficulty breathing, loss of taste or smell or nausea.
Please hang your jackets, purses, backpacks etc on the coat hook and place other personal items (shoes etc) on the floor next to them.
Your temperature will be taken with a no-contact thermometer when you arrive. If your temperature is above 99 degrees, we will reschedule you for a virtual consultation.
